Learning Pathways and Educational Provision for Young People with SEND Aged 16+

Gateshead Council is consulting on proposals to change sixth form provision for young people with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND) at special schools across the borough. We want to ensure that young people in Gateshead achieve the best possible outcomes as they prepare to move into adulthood.

The proposals focus on early preparation and the range of alternative provision available. If approved, these proposals would take effect from 1st September 2020.
