The road on Queen Elizabeth Avenue (Outside of the new Emergency Care Centre, Queen Elizabeth Hospital) is an extremely busy road which proved difficult to cross. As there are two bus stops near to the entrance of the hospital, the public have to rush to cross the road in order to get across (particularly to catch their bus). As the many of hospital patients are senior citizens, this can prove particularly difficult and potentially harzardous. I propose that a pedestrian crossing be installed to enable safe crossing for the public.
