Since the demise of business link in the area, there is very little advice available for anyone looking to start a new business. We need more local business ventures, and we need ideas and creativity to come from the North East. We would like to see better support structures in place for local startups.
I currently run an online business with my wife, and it has taken us over 5 years to build up what we have. We unfortunately didn't have much guidance, made mistakes and had to learn on the way. The help and support that Business Link or a similar service would have been to us would have been greatly appreciated at the time.
Our company would like to see more support in place for local entrepreneurs and startups.
