Transport Consultation - Wilson Street Bus Stop

We invite your comments on our proposal to prevent obstructive parking at the junction on Wilson Street with Ellison Road.

Our proposal is to extend the double yellow lines outside 5 Hawthorn Terrace to better protect the corner and extend the single yellow line along Kensington Terrace to allow large vehicle to safely turn right out of Wilson Street.

We are also proposing to move the northbound bus stop on Wilson Street closer to the junction of Ellison Road. This follows complaints that the buses are unable to access the kerb at the current location due to parked cars.
