Coatsworth Road Improvements

We are consulting on a proposal to implement highway improvements to the central section of Coatsworth Road between the junctions with Havelock Terrace and Whitehall Road.

The scheme is being funded by the Council and the Heritage Lottery Fund as part of the Coatsworth Road Townscape Heritage Initiative (THI) project. It aims to deliver more legally defined parking spaces within the Coatsworth Road area, and a safer, more attractive, pedestrian environment through the resurfacing (and in specific areas, upgrading) of pavement and road surfaces to support recent and future investments in local shops and businesses as part of the THI project.
