Transport Consultation - Shields Road (Bill Quay) Cycle Lane Enforcement
The above scheme is proposed to provide parking restrictions within the existing cycle lane on Shield Road. This is to improve safety for cyclists by preventing parked cars causing an obstruction within the cycle lane.
The scheme is proposing 2 options for the areas shown with a red dotted line on the plan drawing:
- Option 1 - No waiting at any times, double yellow lines
- Option 2 - No waiting 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday, single yellow line.
