Today (25/01/2019) a child was involved in a road traffic accident which resulted in them being injured. On a daily basis our children are put at risk by the increased volume of traffic on these roads especially Northview. Northview is the road on which Front Street Community Primary School is situated, This road has a major bus route between the hours of 0815 - 0900 and 1500 - 1530 daily there are on average 4 buses going in both directions, as well as bin collection at 0820 on Wednesday weekly. Northview has no zebra or pelican crossing available to allow safe crossing of the road. There is a carpark, Whichkam Shopping Precinct West, located above the school but due to it location parents are reluctant to use it. This needs to be dealt with urgently to prevent more children being injured or worse killed.
