Transport Consultation - Whickham Highway Waiting & Loading 2022
Notice is hereby given that on the 23 November 2022 the Borough Council of Gateshead made The Borough Council for Gateshead (Whickham Highway)(Waiting and Loading) Traffic Regulation Order 2022 (as revised) which will come into effect on the 28 November 2022.
This Order replaces the earlier order made on the 12 January 2022 and introduces the prohibition of waiting at any time and a prohibition of loading at any time along the lengths of road set out in the Schedule below.
The Order together with a plan and a statement of the Council’s reasons for making the Order, may be examined online at: http://www.gateshead.gov.uk/trafficschemes or at the main reception at Gateshead Council’s Civic Centre, Regent Street, Gateshead NE8 1HH, Monday to Thursday between 8.45am and 5.00pm and Friday between 8.45am and 4.30pm OR a copy can be requested by contacting telephone number (0191) 4332169 (Ref: IKEN/4519).
If any person wishes to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Act or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument made under them has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order is made, apply to the High Court for that purpose.
