Transport Consultation - Stella Road in Ryton, Crookhill and Stella

The Council is proposing to introduce new parking restrictions to both the east and westbound carriageways of Stella Road from the end of High Hedgefield Terrace through to Hedgefield Avenue to ensure the highway does not become restricted due to the volume of vehicles parking in the area.

The increase in the volume of traffic parking in the area is not only impeding pedestrians from being able to safely use the north and south footways but is also reducing the overall carriageway width which is affecting the movement of traffic through the area. We invite your comments on the proposal.
